In an alternate, Victorian-era Gotham, Bruce Wayne begins his crusade as the masked vigilante, Batman, to fight corruption and crime. However, a string of brutal murders attributed to Jack the Ripper shakes the city to its core. As Batman investigates these killings, he uncovers dark secrets about Gotham’s elite and must confront the possibility that the Ripper may be someone he knows personally.

This animated movie blends elements of the classic Batman mythos with the noir and gothic atmosphere of the Victorian era, offering a dark, suspenseful, and action-packed mystery. The storyline is loosely inspired by the 1989 graphic novel Batman: Gotham by Gaslight by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola, with some creative liberties taken in the adaptation.
